Names

Name records are called 'Names' in Denari because names don't necessarily have to be actual donors, or have given a gift, to be in your data. Some organizations prefer that, but Denari is a fundraising program, not an accounting program. Therefore, it is the place to keep names of potential donors, volunteers, event participants, people who have purchased items from your online store, and more. Anyone associated and interested in your organization can be a potential donor and their name record has value to your organization. While they may not donate today, someday you may include them in an email campaign that may arouse their interest and prompt them to make a donation. Your names records, along with your gift and pledge records are your most valuable resource.
