Name Acquisition

The Name Acquisition section offers filters that deal with how you acquired a new name record. Remember, all filters in a name segment are optional.

Name Acquisition

1

Intro Date

The Low Intro Date and Hight Intro Date filter on the Introduction Date in name records. When a new record is added to Denari the date is recorded. This set of fields allow you to enter a date range to get a list of names that were added in that range. Quite often, this filter is used to send a welcome letter or other communication to anyone added recently.
2

Single Intro Appeal

Refers to the Source Code that is selected when a new name is added to your data. It is an Appeal Code and tracks what fund raising effort generated this new name. This filter allows you to get a list of names with a single appeal/source code. For example, you could get a list of names that were added to your data from your most recent Banquet.
3

Low and High Intro Appeal

The Low and High Intro Appeal Code filter allows you to enter a range of appeal or source codes. The Singe Intro Appeal Code field above allows you to get a list of names for a single appeal while these two fields allow you to find names with more than one appeal/source. The range is determined alphabetically or numerically. For example, enter 'Banquet' in the Low field and 'Walkathon' in the High field. You then will get all names with a Source/Appeal Code alphabetically between those two codes. It works the same way if you have used numbers for your codes.
4

Low and High Campaign Codes

Appeal Codes can be linked to Campaign Codes. This filter allows you to filter by Campaign which groups several Appeal/Source Codes together to get a list of names with any of those Campaign Codes. As with the Intro Appeal filter above, the range is determined alphabetically or numerically.

Reminder: All filters in a name segment have an AND operator between them except for some Classifications. If you select three filters, for example, Denari will read that as filter 1 AND filter 2 AND filter 3. A name record must meet the requirement for all three filters to appear in the output.
