Gift Codes

There are two main codes that are common to all gift records. In fact, Denari requires that every gift and pledge you enter has both of those. They are the Appeal Code and the Fund Code. The appeal code tracks your fundraising efforts, or where the money came from. The fund code tracks what you are raising the money for. You can also use Campaign Codes and Department Codes to group Appeals and Funds together to make it a little easier to produce reports for groups of appeals or funds.
